A special door just for Macoy!
We made the center pieces out of cork so she can pin up
the things important to her and then
added lots of "Bling"!

Macoy4.JPG

We monogrammed the opposite wall and included the polka-dots that are in the bedding she picked out.

Flowers are always a good idea.  Here we created a butterfly garden with beautiful iris flowers.

Pooh's Forest

When it comes to some themes, copyright laws limit you in what you can legally paint.  In these cases, I have found that painting a background and then using wallpaper cut-outs can be the perfect mix!  That's what we did with Pooh's Forest seen below.  I painted the forest with all it's little critters.  Then we bought the Pooh characters and put them into the scene with wallpaper paste.

I've seen wallpaper cutouts of Tinkerbell...what about painting an enchanted forest and then put Tinkerbell in it???????????

Modern lettering is a nice touch for a nursery.

The technique below is a great faux for children's walls.  Here it is done in Cosmic Pink.........a little girl's favorite color!
